Domestic Violence and the National Football League: 
A Public Discussion with Professor Michael McCann 
The Center for Gender & Sexuality Studies will present a timely discussion of the intersection of domestic violence and the culture of sport through the example of recent events involving the National Football League. Lunch will be provided.

October 4-17,  MA Bar Association Student Mock Interview Program
Experience a mock job interview with a practicing lawyer based on geography and practice area. The program will run from mid-September through mid-October 2014. Interviews will be 30-45 minutes and will take place at the lawyer’s office or at the Law School. October 3—student/lawyer pairing assignment email sent out. October 4-17 – interviews conducted. Deadline to sign up September 29. If interested, please RSVP to Amy Feliciano at afeliciano@law.wne.edu.

Wednesday, October 8, Lunch & Learn: The Value of an Externship
The Law School prides itself on the wide range of experiential opportunities we make available to students. Externships are a way that students can earn academic credit while interning in an off-campus practice setting—usually with a nonprofit organization, government agency or judge. Come learn more about this exciting opportunity. Attorney Aimee Cameron-Browne and student Brittney Adams will explain their experiences with externships and answer any questions you might have. Lunch will be provided, but you need to RSVP.
