Current Events

Our office is currently open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and until 6:00 p.m. on Thursdays when classes are in session. Students with questions or those who want to schedule an in-person or telephone appointment may call the office at (413) 782-1416.

As a requirement for obtaining the J.D. degree, students who begin their law studies in fall 2012 or thereafter must complete 20 hours of pro bono law-related service.  Join us to learn more about the requirement and how you can meet it in a way that best fits your schedule.

Elizabeth Sweeney (L’11) will discuss her career as a prosecutor with the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office. Elizabeth is responsible for appeals in the office and has argued before the Supreme Judicial Court. She also has handled trial level work. MA Bar Association Student Mock Interview Program

October 4-17, 2014 

Experience a mock job interview with a practicing lawyer based on geography and practice area.  The program will run from mid-September through mid-October 2014. Interviews will be 30-45 minutes and will take place at the lawyer’s office or at the Law School. October 3 – student/lawyer pairing assignment email sent out. October 4-17 – interviews conducted. Lunch & Learn: The Value of an Externship
