LAWS910-01 Legal Services Skills

This seminar is a prerequisite for students participating in the Legal Services Clinic and Legal Services Housing Clinic. Students enroll in this course the semester preceding their clinic placement. The course focuses on substantive law and issues related to poverty law practice, and developing basic lawyering skills, including professionalism and ethics, client interviewing, counseling, case planning, fact investigation, oral advocacy, negotiation and litigation skills.
