The Western New England University School of Law’s 16th annual Supreme Court Review has been rescheduled for Friday, November 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Blake Law Center Commons. The event, originally scheduled for November 4, is free and open to the public.

The seminar will explore the constitutionality of federal health care reforms (including the Affordable Care Act) as well as the Court’s recent decisions addressing First Amendment rights, criminal law, federalism, and regulation of business. Participants include Western New England University School of Law professors Leora Harpaz, Bruce Miller, Giovanna Shay, and Arthur Wolf.

The event is sponsored by the School of Law’s Institute for Legislative and Governmental Affairs. It also provides other educational opportunities and community services, including drafting bills and ordinances for public officials, sponsoring conferences and lectures, and conducting legislative workshops. These opportunities and services are available not only to law students, but also to members of the bar, the bench, and the general public.
