Law and Business Center to Explore Innovation

The Western New England University Law and Business Center for Advancing Entrepreneurship will host a talk by Professor Marc Meyer titled “Advances in Product, Systems, and Services Innovation” on Thursday, November 17 at noon in the Blake Law Center Commons. The event is free and open to the public.
Meyer will use his experiences working with companies that include IBM, P&G, Honda, and Mars to present a framework for the next generation of innovation. A Springfield native, Meyer serves as Robert Shillman Professor of Entrepreneurship, Matthews Distinguished Professor, and Director of the High Tech MBA at the Northeastern University College of Business. He is a serial entrepreneur and continues to advise a wide range of start ups.
Meyer’s scholarly work has been published in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurship Education, International Review of Entrepreneurship, and the Sloan Management Review, among others. He holds a Ph.D. in Technology Management and a master’s degree from MIT, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Government and Economics from Harvard.
