The National Association of Women Judges hosted its "Color of Justice" event on November 16 in the Blake Law Center. Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Justice Barbara Lenk; Massachusetts Appeals Court Justice Ariane D. Vuono; judges from the Superior Court, District Court, Juvenile Court, and Probate and Family Court; local attorneys; and Western New England School of Law Dean of Admissions Michael Johnson were all in attendance.
The program was designed to encourage girls, women, and minority students to consider the law and judgeships as career goals. It provided an environment where discussion and debate among participants could flourish and included panel discussions with judges and lawyers who shared their personal and professional insights.
