Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship to Host Free Small Business Legal Information Session

The Western New England University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will host a free information session on tax issues facing small businesses on October 23 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Blake Law Center. The session, part of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship’s “Mini Law School for Small Business” series, is free and open to the public.
During the information session, Paul Mancinone, Esq. of Paul L. Mancinone Company and Michael Matuszczak of the Internal Revenue Service will highlight current tax issues facing small businesses, including identity theft in the tax context and how to handle an audit. The “Mini Law School for Small Business” series features law professors and experts in various fields discussing the basics of business law and common problems entrepreneurs face. Future topics will include the basics of employment law; contracts, sales, collections, and dispute resolution; legal issues in finance; intellectual property; and bankruptcy.
