How Sweet It Is: Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to Explore Recipe for Success in Candy Business

The Western New England University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will host a presentation by Jeff Birnn, Copresident of Birnn Chocolates of Vermont, Inc., on Tuesday, October 29, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the Blake Law Center Commons. The event is free and open to the public and refreshments will be provided.
Birnn and his brother Jeff are the third generation to run the family business, which he helped transition from a retail manufacturer of candy to an wholesale manufacturer of premium truffles. During his talk, Birnn will discuss the path he took to running and growing his business, sharing lessons that he learned along the way and providing pointers to those just starting out. His appearance is cosponsored by the University’s Entrepreneurship Club.
