GENERAL INFORMATION
Prior to coming to Western New England University in 1980, Professor Miller worked for the National Senior Citizens Law Center, Los Angeles, California, specializing in social security and private pension litigation in the federal courts. Before that, he was an attorney with the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. He teaches constitutional law and other public law and litigation related subjects. Professor Miller's primary areas of interest focus on the challenges to the rule of law that have emerged as a result of the attacks of September 11, 2001, and on legal issues that especially affect poor people. He is president of No More Guantanamos, a non-profit advocacy group, and serves on the board of the Rosenberg Fund for Children.
